Important Information – COVID-19

COVID-19 and other respiratory infections can spread easily and may cause serious illness in some people. Simple steps can help reduce the risk of infection and protect those who are more vulnerable.

If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection and are concerned about your health, please seek medical advice.

COVID-19 Testing

Routine COVID-19 testing is no longer mandatory.

If you choose to test, COVID-19 tests are no longer provided free by the NHS for most people and can be purchased from pharmacies and retailers.

You do not need a COVID-19 test to contact the practice or request medical advice.

Shielding

The national shielding programme has ended and people are no longer advised to shield.

If you have a weakened immune system or are clinically vulnerable, you may wish to take extra precautions during periods of higher infection levels. Individual advice can be discussed with your healthcare team if needed.

NHS COVID Pass

The NHS COVID Pass is no longer in use and is not required for travel, venues, or access to services.

COVID-19 Vaccination

The NHS continues to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible patients as part of the seasonal vaccination programme.

COVID-19 vaccinations may be provided at GP practices, pharmacies, or other NHS vaccination sites, depending on availability.

If you believe you are eligible, or have received an invitation, please contact reception for advice on how and where to book your vaccination.

Eligibility and availability may vary throughout the year in line with national guidance.
