Our Clinical Pharmacists are medicines experts who work as part of the practice clinical team alongside our GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals. They can speak to patients directly and provide specialist support with medicines and a range of long-term health conditions.
Clinical Pharmacists can review and optimise medicines, help patients understand their treatment and discuss any concerns about how their medicines are working. They can also support patients who take several different medicines or whose treatment needs closer monitoring.
Where appropriate, our Clinical Pharmacists can make changes to medicines and work with the wider practice team to help ensure patients receive safe and effective treatment.
